主讲人:Xuekai Ma博士曾于耶拿大学(德国,光学专业)和帕德伯恩大学(德国,凝聚态物理专业)攻读博士学位,结业后继续在帕德伯恩大学从事博士后研究事情。从2022年起,在德意志科学基金(DFG)的资助下,Ma博士在帕德伯恩大学建设了自己自力的科研小组,并担当Group Leader(等同于助理教授)。Ma博士的科研小组主要从事半导体微腔中激子-极化激元(exciton-polariton)的非线性和拓扑的理论研究,并揭晓高水平论文50余篇,其中包括Nature Communications, PRL, JACS, Angewandte Chemie, Nano Letters, Advanced Science等。Ma博士还恒久担当Nature Communications, PRL, PRB等期刊的审稿人。
内容简介:Microcavity polaritons are partial-light partial-matter quasi-particles, originating from the strong coupling of excitons (electron-hole pairs) and photons in (planar) microcavities. The hybrid nature gives rise to a strong polariton-polariton interaction, which is one of the main factors for the realization of non-equilibrium polariton condensation. Polariton condensates show rich nonlinear phenomena and topological properties. Especially, the interplay of the nonlinearity and topology in polariton systems can leads to novel physical properties. In this talk, several fasinating nonlinear and topological phenomena that recently have attracted significant attention in both physics and chemistry will be reviewed.
